How PumpFundMe works, end to end

A memecoin on pump.fun earns a creator fee on every trade. PumpFundMe locks that fee to a GoFundMe and delivers it, automatically and in public.

pump.fun pays the creator of every coin a small fee on each trade, forever. Most of the time that fee goes to whoever deployed the coin. PumpFundMe exists for one reason: to point that fee at a real cause instead, and to prove, on-chain and in a public ledger, that it got there.

The whole system has three parts: campaigns (a GoFundMe page we have verified), coins (pump.fun tokens whose creator fees are locked to a campaign) and the pipeline (the machinery that turns those fees into actual GoFundMe donations).

1. A campaign is a GoFundMe

Anyone can start a campaign by pasting the link of a GoFundMe page: yours, a friend's, a cause you care about. We read the fundraiser's title, story, photo, amount raised and goal directly from GoFundMe, so the campaign page always mirrors the real thing.

A campaign is not tied to any one coin. It is the cause. Any number of coins, launched by anyone, can point their rewards at it, and the campaign page lists all of them.

2. A coin is launched for it

From the Launch page you pick an image, a name and a ticker, choose the campaign, and deploy. Every coin gets its own fresh vault wallet that creates it on pump.fun, so the creator is never your personal wallet and every coin stands on its own.

In the same breath the vault locks 100% of the coin's creator fees to the PumpFundMe fee wallet using pump.fun's fee-sharing feature. pump.fun revokes the admin of that configuration, so nobody, not even us, can redirect the fees later.

3. Fees become donations

As people trade the coin, creator fees accumulate on-chain. Our pipeline claims them, converts SOL to USDT, moves it to a card wallet and queues a donation to the campaign's GoFundMe. GoFundMe has no public donation API, so the last step is a card payment, and its receipt is linked from the campaign page.

Every claim, swap, transfer and donation is written to the public ledger with its transaction signature. You can watch it happen live in the terminal.

What it costs

  • 0% platform fee. We take nothing from the creator fees.
  • Launching a coin costs network rent and fees only, about 0.035 SOL, plus whatever you decide to buy of your own coin. Unused SOL is refunded to you.
  • Trading a coin costs what pump.fun charges. Part of that is the creator fee, and that part goes to the cause.
